Hi! I’m Mia! I’m a 22 year old songwriter and filmmaker, born and raised in Alexandria, VA. I graduated from Brown University in May of 2025 with a degree in filmmaking (Modern Culture and Media) and am now based in Nashville. I love songwriting. I love storytelling. Most of all, I love making people feel things. Some of my favorite moments in life have been when I’ve been moved by art—a live performance, a song, a scene in a movie. Art that allows you to escape your reality, but also somehow helps you understand and process your reality a little bit better…that’s my favorite thing in the world. And that’s why I do what I do. My songs are little pieces of myself that I expose to the world. Most of them are quite literally pages out of my diary. I write songs in my darkest moments, in my happiest moments. I’ve found that songwriting not only helps me process what I’m going through, but is one of the only ways I truly feel seen. I hope that my songwriting not only helps me feel seen, but that it helps you and your life experience feel seen too. Everything I put out into the world is a part of me. It is how I make sense of things. It is honest (which also happens to be the name of the first single I ever released). Every project I work on, I grow. I hope you come along for the journey :)
